B4Corp is seeking a Software Developer to join a large team of engineers in Chantilly, VA. The role requires a Top Secret/Sci clearance with a polygraph. You will contribute to modernizing and securing IT systems while delivering reliable, scalable software in a collaborative environment.

The candidate will work on Java and Angular (Typescript) with Elasticsearch, RESTful APIs, and AWS, participating in Agile development and code reviews. Excellent communication and mentorship skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing with Java, Spring Boot and Angular (Typescript).
• Proficient in cloud platforms, especially AWS, and modern RESTful APIs.
• Experience in ETL development and data integration is a plus.
• Proficient in Linux command line and scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Seeking a Software Developer – The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer’s mission by helping to modernize and implement industry standards while ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Comfort and familiarity in maintaining legacy applications
• Experience in modernization of legacy applications
• Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
• Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services
• Experience creating RESTful API
• Experience with spring boot
• Develop Java and Angular (Typescript) that leverage Elasticsearch
• Comfort and familiarity designing and utilizing custom ETL methodology
• Strong communication, design, and documentation skills
• Strong time and workflow management skills
• Comfort and familiarity in unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium (create, edit, maintain, execute)
