Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certification.
• Highly Qualified, as defined by Federal Standards, in the subject you teach.
• Equivalent combination of training, education, or experience accepted.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Observe and monitor student behavior in multiple settings for safety.
• Plan, organize and display classroom materials and time for curriculum.
• Use classroom management techniques to maintain order and safety.
• Plan instruction to meet objectives and motivate students.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Communicate student progress to parents and advise on strategies.
• Collaborate with instructional team to promote learning activities.
• Monitor and support student with special needs with specialists' help.
• Order classroom supplies and support duties as assigned.
