Qualifications

• Georgia teaching certificate for middle school required.
• Experience with 7th grade ELA preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to follow curriculum, pacing, assessment, and schoolwide expectations.
• Experience with English Learners or diverse learners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-based 7th grade ELA instruction using the district curriculum.
• Prepare engaging lessons addressing reading, writing, speaking, listening, language, and vocabulary.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the ELA team and support staff.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support WIN/intervention time as assigned.
