Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Birmingham, AL. The role involves collecting blood via venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, performing specimen processing, and ensuring accurate patient data entry and billing processes.

The position supports a 7-on/7-off schedule with weekend rotations and travel to additional sites as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, some phlebotomy experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Birmingham, AL. Work Schedule: 7on/7off Wednesday - Tuesday 12:30PM - 10:00PM with rotating weekends

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
