Job summary

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Atlanta team. The role oversees daily warehouse activities, supports the Warehouse Manager, and directs staff to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment.

We value strong communication, safety, and teamwork. Applicants should have 2+ years in warehousing and be capable of guiding operations in a fast-paced environment at our Atlanta facility.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, or a related environment.
  • Previous team-lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory-control practices.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, warehouse safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to direct and motivate employees in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping, to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate daily workflow and labor assignments to support operational priorities, production schedules, and efficient material flow.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, FIFO practices, proper inventory transactions, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory movement, investigate discrepancies or material issues, and ensure materials are appropriately labeled, stored, and handled.
  • Direct, train, and support warehouse employees by communicating daily assignments, operational priorities, and performance expectations and providing instruction on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
  • Monitor employee attendance, productivity, performance, and adherence to established procedures while promoting accountability and teamwork.
  • Enforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, housekeeping standards, and the safe operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and assist with corrective actions and incident investigations.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Management, Production, Customer Service, and Shipping teams; communicate inventory concerns, shipping issues, staffing needs, and other operational updates to management.
  • Monitor performance indicators related to safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy and support continuous-improvement initiatives.

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Atlanta, GA! The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and material flow.
