KHI Medical is seeking a construction superintendent to lead sizeable projects in active healthcare environments, including hospitals. This onsite role requires managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining workflow while the facility remains in use.

The ideal candidate has strong experience across all construction facets, from RFIs and blueprints to MEP coordination and containment per hospital standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of construction superintendent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on construction trade experience.
• Hospital/healthcare construction experience.
• MEP coordination experience on commercial projects.
• Experience implementing hospital construction containment/ICRA controls.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day onsite operations; coordinate subcontractors.
• Coordinate site logistics in occupied hospital areas as required.
• Implement and maintain containment per hospital/ICRA requirements (temporary barriers, anterooms, sticky mats, negative air machines, HEPA filtration, dust/noise control).
• Blueprint/plan reading: review drawings/specs/details and communicate the execution plan.
• MEP coordination: plan and sequence Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work; resolve clashes.
• Track RFIs, field coordination, and schedule updates; partner with PM to keep milestones on track.
• Manage changes per hospital standards; support change-order requests.
• Provide progress updates to PM via email/phone; maintain logs and field records.
• Use Bluebeam/Procore/PMWeb/Fluid CM to manage workflow and documentation.
