About the project:

72 Miles to Go… traces one family’s journey across time, borders, and their ongoing search for freedom. Clinging to the promise of their destinies and empowered by a love that knows no borders, Billy and Anita brave every challenge with hearts wide open to create a future of safety and hope for their children. The story takes place in Tucson, Arizona and Nogales, Mexico, and this production from director Jacob G. Padrón celebrates the courage, power, dignity, and beauty of all the immigrant communities, including in New Haven and beyond.
