Sound Physicians is hiring an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a day-hospitalist role in Lexington, KY. You will lead patient care in a semi-open ICU, with 24-hour intensivist support and opportunities to perform procedures within your privileges.

The position emphasizes teamwork with Hospitalist APPs, regular team huddles, monthly CME meetings, and hospital committees, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive setting.

Competenze

• Board-certified or eligible Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Mansioni

• Manage complex cases in a semi-open ICU with 24-hour intensivist coverage.
• Perform procedures as per your privileges (procedures are not required).
• Participate in team huddles at least three times a week and a monthly all-staff meeting to stay connected with practice updates, hospital-related topics, and developments within Sound Physicians.
• Attend monthly educational CME meetings and hospital-wide hospital medicine committee meetings.
• Collaborate with Hospitalist APPs, who independently manage pre-op patients in a clinical setting, with support from supervising physicians and staff.
