Job summary

Kreyco is seeking an on-site 6th grade math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the Berkeley area. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with daytime, weekday schedules and no night or weekend classes.

Pay ranges from $400 to $1,100 weekly, with holidays and school breaks included. We welcome teachers with diverse backgrounds and support certification acquisition while you teach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• US residency and commutable distance to the school.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to commute to the school in Berkeley, CA.
• Background check completion required.

Responsibilities

• Teach 6th grade math in person, Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
• Conduct lessons in a classroom setting and manage student learning.
• Support in maintaining a positive classroom environment.
