Windsor Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Classroom Math Teacher (Grade 6) to develop students' skills in algebra, geometry and applied math. The teacher will design lessons, assess progress, and modify instruction for diverse learners in a supportive classroom.
The role requires Connecticut State Certification as a Mathematics Education Teacher, a Bachelor's degree in education, and strong collaboration with staff, parents, and administrators to maximize student achievement.
Middle School Classroom Math Teacher (Grade 6)
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' skills and competence in basic and complex mathematical principles, equations, formulas and calculations, as well as an understanding of the application of mathematics in the solution of practical problems.

Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Works in standard office and school building environments.

Connecticut State Certification as a Mathematics Education Teacher (#029 or #229 as appropriate). Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment. Masters Degree preferred.
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
