Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate effective lessons.
  • Provide support for academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive needs.
  • Prepare lessons with learners' needs in mind.
  • Design activities to meet learning objectives.
  • Respect students with compassion and understanding.
  • Develop educational content including notes, assessments, and assignments.
  • Progress monitor goals and maintain data tracking.
  • Supervise classes to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, staff, and parents.
  • Organize supplies, resources, and equipment.
  • Deliver individualized instruction with interactive learning opportunities.
  • Ensure classroom is clean and orderly.
  • Plan and implement educational activities beyond the IEP when appropriate.
  • Prepare and distribute progress, grade, and semester reports.
  • Plan, prepare, and attend case conference meetings.
  • Provide services to students based on individual needs.

Job Requirements

Bachelor'sDegree in Elementary Education

Current Indiana Teaching License
