ACCEL Schools is seeking a 6th-8th Grade Social Studies Teacher for Thompson School for Girls in Cleveland, Ohio. The candidate should hold an Ohio teaching license, have a bachelor’s in education, and be comfortable with coaching feedback, family communication, and integrating technology

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Comfort in growth-focused coaching with observations, debriefs, action planning and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in an urban environment.
