Distinctive Schools is seeking a 6th-8th Grade Math Teacher for the 2026-27 SY at our Chicago campus. The role reports to the Principal and starts in August 2026 with a starting salary of $70,000 for certified teachers.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree and a valid teaching license or is enrolled in a certification program. The position is Regular Full Time and located at 1309 W. 95th Street, Chicago, IL 60643, with full healthcare benefits and comprehensive paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Content Area Endorsement in related field preferred.
• Valid Professional Educator License or equivalent in state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned to grade-level standards using core curriculum.
• Maintain student-centered classroom culture and consistent communication with families.
• Assess student progress frequently and adjust instruction to address gaps.
• Engage in professional development and campus meetings as required.
