Job description

The Cameron R-1 School District is accepting applications for a Secondary Special Education Teacher (6th-8th Grade Middle School Math) for the 2026-2027 school year. Primary responsibilities will be to provide instruction and a learning environment that will enable each student to increase skills appropriate to age, grade level, and individual capacity. The teacher will be responsible to plan and implement daily instruction to assigned students, work on a team with other teachers, communicate effectively with students, staff and parents, complete special education paperwork, hold IEP meetings, and complete other duties as assigned. It is preferred that desired applicants hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate in special education.
