The Bureau of Field Operations is responsible for the survey and certification process of health care facilities across the State of Florida.
These surveys ensure that all state licensed, and federally certified health care facilities meet the established state and/or federal requirements and patients and residents receive safe, quality health care.
Field Operations staff also ensure the safety of residents in health care facilities when emergencies such as natural disasters occur.

Fire Safety Inspector I Certification is required for this position pursuant to Chapter 633.261, F.S. and Chapter 69A-39, F.A.C. and two years of professional or paraprofessional experience in fire prevention, fire protection systems installations or other construction inspection related experience is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
This position is required to complete Basic Life Safety training within six (6) months of hire.
