Job summary

Verista is seeking a Project Coordinator in Columbus, OH to support Project Managers with schedules, budgets, and governance. You will track milestones, risks, and KPIs, prepare status reports, and coordinate cross-functional meetings across Engineering, Quality, and Finance.

On-site role requiring collaboration with multiple PMs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 1+ years in life sciences or regulated manufacturing, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills with attention

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical-related field required.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting projects in pharma, biotechnology, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing.
  • Interest in developing a career in project management.
  • Basic understanding of project scheduling and budgeting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office apps.
  • Experience with SAP, Planview, or project management software is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple PMs/concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be on-site 100% in Columbus, OH

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with developing and maintaining project schedules, risk registers, action item logs, and project documentation.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, KPIs, resources, and risks; identify potential impacts and elevate issues to project leadership.
  • Prepare project status reports, metrics, financial updates, forecasts, budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and governance presentations.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including agendas, minutes, action tracking, governance reviews, stage-gates, and leadership updates.
  • Support change management, procurement, sourcing, contracting, and other project execution activities to maintain scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and other stakeholders while supporting resource planning, project lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with SAP, Planview, or project management software is beneficial
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

For US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below. The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

National (US) Range $65,296 - $95,358 USD
