Job summary

Land O'Frost is seeking a CDL-A OTR/Regional Truck Driver in the United States. You will operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight between terminals and relay stations, with sign-on bonus and mileage-based pay.

Expect pay structure during the first months and after with per-mile rates, meeting DOT requirements and ensuring safe, compliant driving across routes. Eligible for a substantial sign-on bonus and steady work with regional/o tr operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years OTR driving experience
• Clean MVR and driving record required
• Verifiable employment history for past 5 years
• Complete a DOT physical as required
• Must be able to sit for extended periods in a truck

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and required parts to ensure safe operation
• Deliver freight to consignees and pick up freight as required
• Load and unload freight as needed and secure cargo
• Maintain trip records and logs per state/federal regs
• Report accidents or equipment damage promptly
• Comply with all DOT and company safety rules

CDL-A OTR/Regional Truck Driver $3,000 Sign On Bonus!

Job Summary: Operate commercial motor vehicle to transport freight in interstate or intrastate commerce between terminals and relay stations or from home terminal to distant point(s) and return.

• Pay During First 3 Months: Team Drivers $0.345/mile, Single Drivers $0.55/mile
• Pay After First 3 Months: Team Drivers $0.43/mile, Single Drivers $0.68/mile

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicle and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition prior to departure
• Check shipping papers to determine nature of load and any special hazards, and check load itself and methods of securing it
• Operate vehicle in compliance with company rules and all applicable state and federal regulations, and in accordance with accepted principles of safe driving
• Deliver freight to consignees
• Pick up freight as required
• Load and unload freight as required
• Collect freight charges as instructed
• Perform other related work as required
• The brakes of highway trucks shall be set and wheel chocks placed under the rear wheels to prevent the trucks from rolling while they are boarded with powered industrial trucks.
• Report all accidents, incidents of equipment damage involving driver or company equipment
• Maintain trip records as required
• Maintain for compliance with state and federal regulations including driver’s logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records, etc.
• Proper use and care of all equipment assigned to him/her for the performance of his/her duties.
• Reports promptly any delays that will affect pick up or delivery appointments.

Job Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• 2-years of OTR driving experience
• Verifiable Previous 5-years Employment History
• Clean MVR
• DOT Qualifications
• Complete a required DOT physical
• Driver must be able to sit for extended periods of time in a truck tractor.
• Driver must be able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary, to perform vehicle inspections.

*Signing bonus paid out in monthly installments of $500 each over the first four months of employment.*
