Job summary

Verista in Columbus, OH seeks professionals to support validation, qualification, and testing for packaging equipment within regulated environments. You will prepare and execute validation documents, run test scripts, and maintain meticulous records while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

A Bachelor's degree is required, with GMP training preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device packaging is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Prior experience supporting validation, qualification, or testing activities for packaging equipment or packaging lines preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated packaging operations is a plus.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
• GMP and Good Documentation Practice training (may be on onboarding).
• WORD: advanced document authoring/editing with styles, tables, TOCs, track changes.
• Excel and PowerPoint basic skills.

Responsibilities

• Authoring, editing, and executing technical commissioning, qualification and validation documentation.
• Run test scripts and document results.
• Adhere to project schedules for all activities.
• Maintain clear, detailed records of qualification and validation.
• Read schematics to identify and test photo sensors, verify part numbers, and complete I/O testing on automated manufacturing equipment.

Requirements:

• Experience working in or supporting pharmaceutical, medical device, combination product, or regulated packaging operations is a plus
• Proficiency using PC and Microsoft Office tools

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
