Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to operate out of the Wilmer/Hutchins, TX hub with home daily. This role offers steady weekly pay with modern equipment and reliable local freight.

Typical weekly earnings range from $1,000 to $1,100 gross, based on a base pay of $0.55 CPM plus $29 per load, plus $20 stop-off pay. Schedules include Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday within a 30-mile radius of 75134.

Qualifications

• 6 months of OTR experience in the past 12 months or 12 months of CDL-A experience in last 5 years.
• Recent CDL-A school trainees are not eligible for this fleet.
• Pre-employment dual-panel toxicology (hair follicle and urine) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal drayage from Wilmer/Hutchins terminal within 250 miles.
• Haul container chassis freight with heavy drop-and-hook turns.
• Maintain clean slip-seat day cab operation and adhere to schedules.

Tired of living out of a sleeper berth and dealing with unpredictable long-haul miles? Step into a stable, home-daily intermodal seat right out of the Wilmer/Hutchins yard that combines reliable local freight, modern day cab equipment, and steady weekly pay.

1. Compensation & Weekly Earnings

• Gross a reliable average of $1,000 to $1,100 weekly , built on a strong base pay structure of $0.55 CPM plus $29.00 per load.
• Stack up your weekly check with $20 stop-off pay while logging around 1,000 miles per week.

2. Routes, Freight & Operations

• Local intermodal drayage operations dispatching out of the Wilmer/Hutchins terminal, servicing customer yards within a 250-mile local radius.
• Hauling container chassis freight featuring heavy drop-and-hook turns along with routine preloads, live loads, and live unloads. Clean slip-seat day cab operation.

3. Schedule & Home Time

• Home Daily: Sleep in your own bed at the end of every single shift.
• Work schedules: Select from Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedules (offering both day and night dispatch windows). Open to drivers living within 30 miles of zip code 75134 (including the Hutchins and Lancaster areas).

4. Requirements & Toxicology Protocol

• Experience Rule: Requires 6 months of OTR experience in the past 12 months , OR 12 months of verifiable CDL-A experience over the last 5 years. (Note: Recent CDL school trainees are not eligible for this specific fleet).
• Mandatory pre-employment dual-panel toxicology clearance (hair follicle and urine drug screening).
