Job summary

Webster Groves School District in Webster Groves, MO 63119 is hiring a full-time instructional assistant to support math instruction at Hixson Middle School. You will work closely with teachers to help students understand concepts and stay engaged throughout lessons.

The role requires assisting with classroom activities, monitoring student progress, and performing additional duties as directed by the principal. Base pay is $17.91 per hour with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Missouri teaching certification preferred.
• Minimum of sixty college hours completed.
• Strong knowledge of middle school math concepts.

Primary Objectives of Position:

• Assist teachers with math instruction of students in the classroom
• Assist teachers as needed (i.e., keeping the students engaged in the learning process)
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

Qualifications:

• Missouri teacher certification preferred
• Minimum of (60) sixty college hours
• Strong knowledge base in middle school math concepts
• Strong ability to help students who need additional support with mastering grade level math concepts
• Successful criminal background check

Base pay rate - $17.91 hourly
