Position: Special Education Paraprofessional -DCD
Location: High School
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 6.5 hours/day - 7:50 am to 2:50 pm
The Special Education Paraprofessional provides direct support to students with disabilities under the supervision of a licensed special education teacher. This position assists in implementing individualized education plans, supporting student independence, and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment. Paraprofessional assignments are based on student need and may change throughout the school year; staff may be reassigned to a different student, classroom, building, or program as determined by district administration.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1.Have at least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits if earned in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education;or
2.Hold an associate's degree or higher;or
3.Have a passing score on an approved, formal assessment (ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment)
Ranging $21.07 - $22.63 per hour, dependent on experience
