Applicants must meet the “Every Student Succeeds Act” highly qualified requirement through two years of college, or an Associate’s degree or higher; or have passed the ParaPro Assessment Test.
This position is subject to the SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Paraeducator professional development is a requirement of the school district, and Washington State. Paraeducators are required to attend 28 hours of Fundamental Course of Study training. Preapproved training hours that occur outside of contracted/paid hours will be compensated on a timesheet.
Salary Range: $24.84 - $30.86, Depending on school experience and in accordance with the SEIU negotiated bargaining agreement.
