Brighton Central School District Employment is recruiting a day-to-day building substitute to fill in for teacher aides or teaching assistants when they are out of the classroom.

  • Be able to sit and get up from the floor or low seated position
  • Be part of a P.E. class and be able to support sport activities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus
  • Either: (A) One (1) year of full‑time or part‑time equivalent paid or voluntary experience working in a clerical capacity;
  • (B) One (1) year of full‑time or part‑time equivalent paid or voluntary experience working with children;
  • (C) Possession of a certificate of completion for a course for Child Care through an occupational school, The American Red Cross or similar agency;
  • (D) A combination of experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.
  • NOTE: Successful completion of one (1) year of college education beyond high school (minimum of 30 semester college credit hours) may be substituted for the one (1) year of experience.
