Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking qualified applicants for a 5th Grade self‑contained elementary classroom teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster student growth and success in academic, social‑emotional, and spiritual development while creating a positive, faith-filled learning environment.
The teacher will work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to support the mission of the school and promote a culture of respect, faith, and academic excellence.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage the responsibilities of a self‑contained classroom
- Knowledge of and commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school (Catholic faith preferred)
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Science of Reading Instruction
- Experience implementing small‑group instruction and effective instructional routines

Education and Experience
- Elementary Education K–6 certification in Nebraska
- Safe Environment Certification through the Archdiocese of Omaha
