Qualifications

• Master’s degree in subject matter or education preferred.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality instruction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction at a higher level than grade standards in an interactive environment.
• Design engaging lessons and assessments aligned with BASIS Curriculum.
• Collaborate with BASIS teachers to develop curriculum and sharing best practices.
• Tutor students to boost academic trajectory and success.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and respect.
• Support non-instructional functions such as Early Bird and Lunch periods.
• Maintain regular attendance and supervise students as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)

Master’s degree in subject matter or education
