Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education required.
• Experience co-teaching or team-teaching preferred.
• Ability to support instruction in Language Arts and Math.
• Strong communication with families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the head teachers to plan and teach small-group or whole-class lessons.
• Assist students with independent or collaborative work.
• Monitor student engagement.
• Assume head teacher responsibilities as needed.
• Record and share observations and information with the head teacher.
• Meet regularly with the head teachers to discuss student progress and curriculum.
• Write academic reports in LA.
• Participate in parent conferences in LA.
• Perform clerical duties, including checking homework folders and recording homework.
• Communicate with parents as needed.
• Teach or co-teach additional periods during the day in math, social studies, or science.
