Job summary

The Kingdom East Unified Union School District seeks a 1.0 FTE 5th/6th grades Humanities Long Term Substitute Teacher to serve at Miller's Run School (PreK- grade 8) providing Humanities instruction aligned to practices, assessment, and curricula adopted by the school/district.

The Middle School Humanities Long Term Substitute Teacher will work closely with an instructional team, including coaches and the director of curriculum, with experience in MTSS and project-based learning being beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a VT teaching license.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Humanities instruction aligned to district curricula.
• Collaborate with MTSS team to support student progress.
• Integrate reading, writing, and social studies across lessons.
