Job summary

McLemore is seeking a General Cleaner for full-time/general operations. Responsibilities include cleaning buildings, maintaining safety, and reporting repairs. Shifts include 6:00-2:30 and 7:00-3:30, Monday through Friday, with additional weekend options.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and SDS.
• Comfort using cleaning chemicals with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and cleaning surfaces as assigned.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure hazards are not created.
• Use approved cleaning chemicals only with proper PPE as required and must follow SDS.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using proper cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and proper disinfectants.
• Move heavy furniture to vacuum/sweep underneath as needed.
• Arrive timely for shift as scheduled and complete all work in allotted time.
• Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are well-maintained.
• Cross-train on other duties or areas as assigned by Supervisor

Job Skills / Requirements

• 6:00 - 2:30pm Mon-Fri
• 7:00-3:30pm Mon-Fri
