Job summary

Foster Farms in California seeks a capable team member to support weight monitoring of tanks, operate a PIT pallet jack, and assist with moving product within a wet, cold plant environment. Shift:Swing Shift

Job Description:

• Team member is responsible for Monitoring the weight of the tanks, PIT operator (pallet jack), lifting 40 to 50 pounds, pushing tanks, lifting rolls of plastic liners, lifting product with a plastic shovel and walking through the plant.
• Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must wear required PPE for work area.
• Must be able to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Must be able to tolerate repetitive hand and arm motions.
• Moving tanks of product to different location.
• Supplying materials as needed.
• Checking equipment to be in good condition.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 60 pounds repetitively.
• Other duties as assigned.
