Avalon Services Group, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Janitors to keep our distribution centers clean, safe, and ready for action in Groveport, Ohio. Compensation is hourly at $17.50 with first and second shifts available, and background/drug screening required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize work areas and maintain cleanliness of warehouses, offices, and parking areas.
• Sweep, mop, and clean bathrooms; manage waste and housekeeping inventory.
• Follow safety guidelines and complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on time.
• Handle refiling of eating stations and maintain housekeeping supplies.

They're hiring Warehouse Janitors to keep their distribution center clean, safe, and ready for action. Your work makes a real difference here!

Hourly Rate: $17.50

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (1st shift) or 3:00p-11:30pm (2nd shift)

Background Check and Drug Screening Required

What You'll Do

• Sanitize work areas
• Ensure the maintenance of the warehouse areas, parking lot, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning is performed beneath the storage units.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks on time
• Sweep and mop warehouse floors
• Clean bathrooms
• Follow safety guidelines
• Refiling eating stations
• Keep up with housekeeping inventory
• Manage waste, including keeping garbage containers clean and organized
• Perform other duties as needed

What You Need to Qualify

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

What Physical Activities Will You Do?

• Constant (100%) standing and walking during workday.
• Frequent (70%) pushing, pulling, grasping, stretching, bending, twisting, reaching over head.
• Occasional (30%) stooping, climbing, and squeezing.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
