Job summary

Booker DiMaio is seeking a Front-End Developer/508 Compliance Specialist to support application sustainment and modernization efforts. The role focuses on building and maintaining mission-critical web interfaces with Section 508 accessibility from the ground up, in a 100% onsite setting in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Candidates must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly, and have expertise in HTML/CSS/JS, Angular, GWT, PrimeFaces, Quarkus, and accessibility tooling; experience

Qualifications

• Front-end development with a focus on 508 accessibility.
• Experience sustaining and modernizing mission-critical web apps.
• Strong knowledge of Section 508 accessibility and ARIA.
• Agile experience with JIRA/Confluence and collaboration with teams.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and sustain mission-critical web interfaces with Section 508 from ground up.
• Identify and remediate accessibility issues across interfaces.
• Maintain interfaces between multiple applications and ensure performance.
• Support modernization efforts in an onsite Annapolis Junction environment.

This job is 100% onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.

We have an immediate need for a Front-End Developer/508 Compliance Specialist to support application sustainment and modernization efforts. Support will focus on the development, enhancement, and sustainment of mission-critical web applications used to manage, publish, and collaborate on intelligence products. Responsibilities will include improving and maintaining Section 508 accessibility across existing web interfaces, identifying and remediating accessibility issues, and developing modern front-end interfaces with Section 508 accessibility incorporated from the ground up.
