Job summary

Optimal Balance Pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for second shift. You will join a team delivering patient-specific sterile medications, upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

This role requires active Texas registration, IV certification, sterile compounding experience, and a teamwork mindset. Shift times: 1st 6:00 AM-2:00 PM and 2nd 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Current IV certification and sterile compounding training.
• Hands-on sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques, cleanroom procedures, and USP 797 standards.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, patient-specific sterile medications as part of a dedicated team.
• Support the pharmacy's standards for safety, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
