• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and administrative spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and uniforms.
• Follow strict safety protocols related to chemical handling and manual handling procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Utilize proper floor care techniques such as mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to environmental services standards and infection prevention protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests from staff or patients while maintaining professionalism and respect at all times.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare facilities or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
