Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a CNC Milling Machinist with 4–5 axis experience for a on-site role in Portland, CT. The candidate will perform setup (predominantly), operate machines and adjust equipment with minimal supervision, reading blueprints to guide processes.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in CNC setup and operation on lathes and mills, tool selection, feeds and speeds, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs in a clean shop environment. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience setting up and running CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform tool selection, feeds and speeds.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work independently with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED required with 2-3 years of CNC 5-axis milling setup and operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes. Works from Blueprint
