American Precision Industries, Inc. is seeking a CNC 5-axis Machinist to set up and run complex multi-axis jobs with tight tolerances. The role emphasizes precision, independence, and high-mix production in a fast-paced environment.

compensation ranges from $32.00 to $38.00 per hour, DOE, with shift differential and a monthly bonus program when company-wide sales goals are met. Day shift operates Friday through Sunday, 5 AM to 5:30 PM, on-site.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Set up complex multi-axis jobs with workholding and tooling.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; interpret tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers to produce precision components.
• Edit programs and optimize tooling to improve quality and cycle time.
• Verify tooling and fixtures and perform in-process inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation of counts and inspection results.
• Collaborate with Quality, Programming and Engineering to resolve issues.
