ABM Industries is seeking a Test & Balance Technician – 4th Year Apprentice in Tempe, AZ. You will work with skilled technicians in a semiconductor environment, applying safety protocols and balancing systems during installations and de-installations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow detailed work plans, with potential evening or weekend support as required. ABM supports veterans and provides a pathway into the Testing, Adjusting and Balancing field.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a drug screening (including THC).
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Must pass a background check.
• Criminal history check required in the US, including seven years felony jurisdictions, five years misdemeanor jurisdictions, and nationwide crosscheck.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow all protocols in a chemical factory.
• Collaborate with experienced testing, adjusting and balancing technicians in a semiconductor facility.
• Maintain system and equipment balance during installations and de-installations of process equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to air requirements of the process equipment.
• Assist in emergencies during evenings or weekends as needed.
