Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Supervisor Pharmaceutical Coating for the St. Albans, Vermont facility. This full-time role on the 4th shift oversees staff in production, ensures adherence to the production schedule, and maintains cGMP compliance across operations.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) and 2–4 years of relevant experience. A 10% shift differential applies for 4th shift work, with competitive compensation. Viatris is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure assignments are completed on schedule following established policies and procedures.
• Monitor production output and quality on the line and initiate corrective actions with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Engineering as needed.
• Ensure proper equipment operation, enforce safety rules and cGMP compliance; prepare rooms and equipment for inspection and perform room releases.
• Coordinate and oversee operators in other areas and act as back-up to supervisors or Manager when needed.
• Develop and train personnel in Production operations, systems and cGMP compliance.
• Review Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, Time Sheets, deduction cards, and other paperwork; perform reconciliations for controlled substances.
• Lead investigations with QA to identify root causes and implement corrective actions; complete procedural revisions and training to align with procedures.
