Job summary

AMS is seeking a passionate, data-driven 4th Grade Humanities Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction at our Peoria campus. You will build foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills while leveraging formative and summative data to guide interventions.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and Arizona teaching certification in a related subject area, with SEI endorsement or training preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, Early Childhood, Elementary) or equivalent.
• Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area (or eligible).
• SEI endorsement or completion of 45 hours SEI training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned to AMS curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students across grade levels.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to plan and intervene.
• Build foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Establish a structured, positive classroom environment with high expectations.
• Engage families and lead parent-teacher conferences.
