Job summary

Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston's Holy Rosary Catholic School in Rosenberg, Texas seeks a dynamic teacher for 4th/5th grade Math & Science. Under the Principal's supervision, the TEACHER will implement Archdiocesan curriculum and document progress, adapt instruction for individual students, and foster a safe, student-centered classroom.

The candidate will develop plans, assess learning, support digital citizenship, attend meetings, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• State Certification in the appropriate grade level preferred.
• Bachelor's from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline.
• Master's Degree in related area preferred.
• Prior experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers curriculum aligned with school goals.
• Provides safe, inclusive learning environments for varied learners.
• Creates lesson plans and learning activities to maximize instructional time.
• Conducts ongoing assessment and adapts teaching to student needs.
• Teaches responsible digital citizenship and complies with laws and policies.
• Maintains accurate records of grades and attendance and communicates with parents.
