Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience with children under five.
• Completion of the ECD 101 credential or enrollment within twelve months of hire.
• Provide two references familiar with your work history.
• Pass a Child Abuse and Neglect Background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with development and execution of weekly lesson plans.
• Engage constructively with individual children during activities and routines.
• Adhere to 4K guidelines and participate in required trainings.
• Attend First Steps and Department of Social Services trainings and obtain CE hours.
• Demonstrate effective listening and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive, safe, healthy classroom environment for students, staff and the public.
• Follow all employer policies and procedures at all times.
