Job summary

Poly-America, L.P. is seeking a Yard Hopper to join our Shipping/Receiving department in Grand Prairie, TX. You will relocate, dock, and transport 48’ and 53’ trailers within the facility while recording information for on-time shipment.

The role operates on a 4-on/4-off, 12-hour shift schedule with rotating days and requires use of propane and sit-down forklifts. Applicants must have at least one year of yard driving experience and a current US driver's license (CDL not required).

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience driving commercial trucks or yard mules.
• A current US Driver's license (CDL not required).
• Ability to maneuver trailers quickly in tight spaces.
• Willingness to work night or day shifts as assigned.
• Pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Relocate, dock, and transport 48’ and 53’ trailers within the facility.
• Record information to ensure on-time shipment.
• Operate propane equipment and sit-down forklifts to load/unload trailers.
• Adhere to Poly-America processes and safety procedures.
