Job summary

UW-Madison Extension is seeking a part-time 60-75% FTE Outreach Support Associate to work across St. Croix and Pierce Counties. The role focuses on planning, communicating, and organizing 4-H events and outreach programs to build awareness and positive youth development.

The position collaborates with County Program Educators and develops community partnerships, marketing materials, and promotions to engage new and returning participants. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Teach interactive lessons to youth and adults in groups settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional work environments.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Experience providing administrative, program, event, or office support.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Teaches culturally relevant educational programs to adults and youth using learner-centered activities and lessons
• Tracks program evaluation and incorporates feedback for improvement
• Procures and maintains course materials and supplies
• Implements initiatives and events that serve the target audience
• Helps design marketing materials and promotions for programs
