Job summary

Carbon Health seeks a Primary Care Physician to join its national network in a role offering a 4‑day work week, no call, no weekends, and holidays off. You will provide patient-centered care within a collaborative, high-performing team and lead MAs/PA/NP staff while supervising care delivery.

The position emphasizes innovation, technology-driven care, and opportunities for clinical research across select clinics. Strong women’s health services and adult patient care are core aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Board-certified (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in your state
• Committed to patient-centered, relationship-driven care
• Comfortable providing basic women’s health services
• Passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and technology-driven care
• Skilled at fostering a positive, respectful team environment
• BLS certification is required before your first day

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams
• Provide basic women's health services, including Pap smears
• Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics)
• Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs
• Manage patient flow efficiently with Central Support assistance
• Provide leadership for your team of MAs and support staff
• Supervise assigned PAs/NPs
• Manage a patient panel with an emphasis on quality outcomes
