Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Tampa, FL is seeking a part-time School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to support students at Pinecrest Elementary School four days a week. The role focuses on assessing and treating speech and language disorders within the school setting and collaborating with teachers, parents, and a school-based team to promote students' communication skills.

The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in SLP, Florida licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (if applicable).
• Educator Certificate (if applicable).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA unless a CF.
• Experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus.
• Dedication to providing culturally competent and client‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve articulation, fluency, and language skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support classroom participation.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans to achieve outcomes.
• Educate parents, teachers, and staff on strategies to carry over skills in school.
