Job summary

Spencer Britt Hospital in western Kansas is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join a strong surgical team in a modern campus. Focus is on bread-and-butter general surgery, endoscopy, and shared trauma call coverage with a 4-day work week and low call-back volume.

Compensation includes a base salary of $450K–$500K, sign-on, relocation, student loan repayment, CME allowance, and a robust benefits package with 401(k) employer contributions.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in general surgery.
• Bread-and-butter general surgery and endoscopy experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in shared trauma call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide bread-and-butter general surgery and endoscopy services at a community hospital.
• Participate in Level IV ED trauma call coverage (1 week per month).
• Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and perioperative teams; support visiting subspecialties.
