Job summary

APR Supply Co. is seeking a 3rd Shift Receiving Warehouse Lead at our Lebanon Distribution Center, Sunday-Thursday, 8:30pm to 5am, to oversee receiving and storage of products and to guide a team of warehouse associates.

You will lead start-up meetings, assign tasks, monitor performance, and coordinate resources to meet daily and weekly targets while upholding safety and accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of prior leadership experience.
• 1–3 years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience (minimum 6 months).
• Ability to lead a team and read handheld RF scanners.
• Experience with WMS software.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse associates including training and performance monitoring.
• Conduct start-up meetings and assign daily tasks.
• Schedule resources to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Ensure accurate receiving and storage of products; report discrepancies.
• Oversee unloading inbound freight and palletize items.
• Maintain safety and equipment, and report malfunctions.

What You'll Do as a Team Lead:

• Lead a team of warehouse associates including training and monitoring performance
• Conduct start-up meetings and assign tasks
• Schedule and allocate resources effectively to meet daily and weekly targets
• Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork and address employee concerns
• Ensure the accurate receiving and storage of product and be responsible for reporting any discrepancies to appropriate personnel
• Palletize and consolidate inbound items
• Oversee the unloading of inbound freight
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel
• Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

What You Bring:

• 1 - 3 years prior leadership experience
• One to three years warehouse experience
• Minimum 6 months successful forklift and pallet jack experience
• Ability to lead team of team members
• Ability to read and operate hand-held RF scan device and WMS
• Problem-solving abilities
• Ability safely to operate a fork lift and pallet jack
• Physical ability to move product safely and efficiently (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers and customers as required
