Job summary

Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center in Bluffton, IN is hiring a Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee receiving, selection, loading and productivity for hourly team members. This role models Kroger’s values of safety, integrity and teamwork.

The supervisor will coordinate daily operations, ensure safety and sanitation, plan staffing, and drive accuracy and efficiency while developing hourly staff and presenting labor reports.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of leadership experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to report and recommend solutions
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, especially

Responsibilities

• Communicate with fellow supervisors and Manager on daily operational activities.
• Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
• Plan production/staffing needs on a daily, weekly, period basis.
• Work with all areas to maximize productivity and performance.
• Monitor and meet all order accuracy requirements/expectations.
• Conduct meetings with hourly associates.
• Oversee the personnel records for all associates.
• Help develop and train hourly associates.
• Generate productivity reports regarding labor standards and hours, within budget.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; complete performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
