Job summary

Capstone is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Ashley, IN. You will learn to represent Capstone with Partners, manage daily activities with associates, and keep safety and productivity as priorities. This is a training opportunity to hone skills to run your own site, with potential for advancement as Capstone grows.

The role requires overseeing site operations, training new hires, and ensuring strict adherence to Capstone safety and work rules while promoting a team-centric environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven experience providing high levels of customer service to internal/external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage budgets; read P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
• Operate site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Prepare daily bank deposits and logs.
• Create daily work logs and report to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily and issues resolved.
• Ensure associates follow Capstone policies and safety rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings with participation.
• Assist in managing Site and Department budgets.
• Schedule shifts based on customer requirements; interview and train new staff.
• Oversee accurate data entry and daily closeout including payroll records.
