Job summary

World Electric in Tampa, FL is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift. You will move products from the warehouse to customers, fill orders, and ensure accurate packaging for truck delivery.

Starting with hands-on training on the 2nd shift, you'll learn to operate equipment, scan items, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced team environment. Benefits are provided to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift packages up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Able to stand and walk for long portions of the shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanner (training provided).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• First weeks require training during the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device (training provided).
• Count, check and record items coming into or shipping out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and manage inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products free from damage and organized.
• Follow procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure.
