Job summary

Porter Pipe & Supply is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift in DeForest, WI. Start time is 10pm and you will handle receiving, picking, and shipping of materials with accuracy and safety in mind.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of warehouse experience; forklift experience is preferred. We offer shift differential and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work 3rd shift hours and complete tasks on time.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise, match to PO.
• Prepare and verify bills of lading and shipping docs.
• Pick, pack and load customer orders for delivery.
• Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and report variances.
• Trace lost shipments and assist with proof of delivery docs.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, etc.
• Drive a stake body truck within company property as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
